The Batsto River is #38 on our paddle map and is 22.9-mile-long river (tributary) of the Mullica River. Known in the Pinelands as being narrow and windy. Expect plenty of obstacles along the way such as downed branches/trees, beaver dams, and low water conditions. Because of the possible hazards we rate this paddle beginner-to-intermediate. It’s important to keep an eye on the weather, water level, and other possible river conditions.
