Cranberry Lake is located in North Jersey in Sussex County. The Musconetcong River drains into the lake, which is roughly 180 acres. The average depth is 7' and the lowest point being 2' found on the south side. The lake shares the border with the Allamuchy Mountain State Park on the southeastern side. The front portion of the lake is more populated with docks and houses, paddle south for a change of scenery.
Splitrock Reservoir is located in Rockaway Township, New Jersey (North Jersey). It’s part of the Farny State Park and is also known for its hiking. The reservoir can be reached by traveling down Split Rock Road. Splitrock is a 650-acre reservoir that is three miles long from end to end. The reservoir features a dam on the south side, the coastline is being very undeveloped and rocky.

Merrill Creek Reservoir is located in Warren County, New Jersey. It’s a 650-acre man-made lake with 290 acres of protected land surrounding it. You will find sub-merged tree reefs and rock reefs throughout the lake.
