Splitrock Reservoir is located in Rockaway Township, New Jersey (North Jersey). It’s part of the Farny State Park and is also known for its hiking. The reservoir can be reached by traveling down Split Rock Road. Splitrock is a 650-acre reservoir that is three miles long from end to end. The reservoir features a dam on the south side, the coastline is being very undeveloped and rocky. The reservoir is great for beginners as the waters are known to be flat and calm.
